The Doug and Josh Explosion, will be headlining a weekend of outrageous stand up comedy, January 1 & 2 at the Downtown Comedy Club, 114 W. 5th St Los Angeles, CA 90013.  $5 before 8:30 ($10 after), we play around 9:30.  There will be a bunch of other great comics as well.

The  Explosion is final step in the evolution of the ‘Artist Formerly Known as Foxycock.com‘.  For years they brought their uncensored hardcore political pop rock to shitty bars and clubs all around California until one day they had a revelation . . . They weren’t a musical act doing comedy . . . they were a comedy act doing music.  So it was back the drawing board to be reborn as a stand up comedy act, ‘The Doug and Josh Comedy Explosion’.

An explosion is an apt word for it.  There’s a frantic energy to their comedy that makes you think, “This isn’t an act at all, this is for real.  These guys could go on for hours riffing off each other.  I wish I could find cool, funny good looking people like them to hang out with. . .”  But now you can, on January 1st and 2nd at the Downtown Club.
